The invitation from Fr. Pat below is published in the Parish Newsletter which is available in the church or can be downloaded from this website.
For the last few years there was greater involvement by younger members of the Parish in the
Stations of the Cross on Good Friday. Many people have found it to be moving and inspiring so
this approach will continue again this year.
There is a general invite to young people (13-25 yrs) to get involved. Obviously those involved
last year are welcome again. There will be preparatory meetings during Lent to put the stations
together and one full practice early in Holy Week in advance of Good Friday.
If your son or daughter is in Secondary School and would like to take part, please complete the
permission note below, and if you are a young adult 18yrs or older, you might complete the form
Please return the completed permission to me in the Sacristy or in the Parish Centre
or to the Community School Chaplain, Mr Kevin McCluskey.
A preparatory meeting will be held in the Parish Centre, @7pm Wednesday 8 March.
If this outline meets with your approval we hope you can support us in this venture.
With prayerful good wishes, Fr Pat Fogarty (Parish Priest)
